Addiction and trauma thrive in isolation. Healing happens in connection.

Group therapy at Compass gives you something one-on-one work cannot: the relief of realizing you are not the only one, and the strength of people walking the road alongside you. For many clients, the group room is where the deepest shifts happen.
Group therapy brings a small group of clients together with a skilled clinician to work on shared challenges. It is not a loose support circle. Our groups are structured, clinically led, and built around specific recovery topics, from trauma and shame to relationships, boundaries, communication, and identity.
Our groups are facilitated by PhD and master’s-level counselors who keep the space safe, focused, and productive. That clinical leadership is what allows people to be honest, take real risks, and actually grow rather than just vent.
Connection and accountability with people who understand
Practical skills you can use right away
A safe place to be honest without judgment
Perspective from others walking a similar road
The momentum that comes from healing together
Group therapy works alongside your individual counseling, medical and functional medicine care, and brain-based tools. Together they treat both the private and the relational sides of recovery.
Group therapy is a core part of our programs, alongside individual counseling. It is one of the most effective parts of recovery for many clients.
A clinician leads the group through a specific recovery topic. You share at your own pace in a confidential, supportive setting.
Yes. Confidentiality is a core ground rule of group therapy, and our clinicians maintain a safe, private environment.
