Driven by a deep calling to help others find freedom and purpose, Elizabeth Lutz brings her journey and lived experiences into her work with Compass Integrative Recovery and the recovery field at large. Born and raised in Oregon, Elizabeth has overcome profound loss, abandonment, and the impact of addiction, a journey that has shaped her commitment to serve. Known for her unwavering faith, she is often called a friend to the friendless, a mother to the motherless, a coach, a mentor, and a spiritual leader. Elizabeth has worn many titles, from Olympic coach to spiritual advisor in correctional facilities, and now serves as the Activities Director at The Recovery Village at Palmer Lake, where she introduces clients to valuable recovery resources and tools for transformation.
Elizabeth’s journey has not been without challenges, but she views these struggles as pivotal in shaping her purpose. The pain she faced ultimately pushed her toward change, teaching her that healing begins with confronting our own failures. Her passion for helping others was born from this turning point, and today, she uses her varied experience, including fitness coaching, peer support, public speaking, and prison ministry, to inspire and empower individuals in recovery.
As a certified peer coach, public speaker, and recovery leader, Elizabeth combines practical skills with compassion and insight. Her vision is to see the broken healed, using all of her gifts to guide people toward freedom from addiction and reconciliation with a higher purpose. Elizabeth dreams of writing a book to encourage others in recovery, helping them grow and heal beyond the pain into a life of purpose. With a focus on holistic care and faith-driven leadership, Elizabeth is committed to creating spaces where individuals can rediscover hope, embrace change, and move forward with resilience.
