Compass treats the conditions that high-capacity people tend to carry quietly for years, often while still performing at a high level on the outside. We address both the symptom you can name and the root cause underneath it, because lasting change needs both.
Every condition below is treated within our intensive outpatient (IOP) and partial hospitalization (PHP) programs near Colorado Springs, using a whole-person approach that combines evidence-based therapy, functional medicine, brain-based tools, and nervous system work. Whatever brought you here, you are not too much, and you are not beyond help.
Anxiety
From high-functioning anxiety that hides behind achievement to panic that disrupts sleep and focus, we treat the nervous system, not just the worry. Therapy, neurofeedback, breathwork, and functional medicine work together to calm the system at its root.
Trauma and PTSD
For veterans, first responders, and anyone carrying unprocessed trauma, we use trauma-informed therapy alongside nervous system regulation and brain mapping to take the charge out of the past so it stops running the present.
Depression
We get underneath low mood, fatigue, and numbness rather than just managing them, combining therapy and functional medicine with TMS through our clinical partners for treatment-resistant cases.
Substance Use and Addiction
We treat addiction as a response to something deeper, healing the trauma, anxiety, and physical imbalances underneath the use so sobriety becomes sustainable instead of white-knuckled.
Alcohol Addiction
For high-functioning drinkers especially, we offer discreet outpatient care that treats both the drinking and the stress, anxiety, or trauma fueling it, without shame.
Burnout
For executives, leaders, and high performers running on empty, we rebuild capacity from the inside out with functional medicine, nervous system work, and coaching, not just a week off.
Anxiety and alcohol, trauma and depression, burnout and substance use. These patterns overlap constantly, and treating one while ignoring the other is one of the most common reasons people relapse or never fully recover.
That is why we do not treat conditions in isolation. Your Compass plan treats the whole picture at once, which is also why our dual diagnosis approach is central to how we work.
For every condition, we coordinate one plan that reaches the mind, the body, and the nervous system together:
PhD-led individual counseling and clinician-led group therapy
Functional medicine that looks for physical drivers like inflammation, hormones, sleep, and nutrient gaps
Brain mapping and neurofeedback to support nervous system regulation
Breathwork and sauna or cold plunge work to settle a dysregulated system
Fitness, nutrition, and life mapping
Optional faith-based support and a long-term alumni community
Many of the people we treat are executives, professionals, veterans, special operations personnel, and first responders, the high-capacity people who hold everything together for everyone else. Our outpatient structure is private and flexible, so you can get serious care without stepping away from your life entirely.
The goal is not just symptom relief. It is to help you get unstuck, rebuild stability, and reset a clear sense of purpose, then keep walking with you through aftercare so the change holds. If you are not sure what you are dealing with, that is exactly what a free, confidential consultation is for.
We treat anxiety, trauma and PTSD, depression, substance use and addiction, alcohol addiction, and burnout, including co-occurring conditions, all within our outpatient IOP and PHP programs.
Yes. These conditions usually overlap, and our dual diagnosis approach treats mental health and substance use together with one coordinated plan rather than one symptom at a time.
Many of our clients are. You do not have to be visibly falling apart to deserve treatment, and our outpatient structure is built to fit around work and family.
Yes. We provide IOP and PHP. Both are outpatient, so you take part in an immersive day program and return home or to nearby lodging. We do not provide medical detox or residential care.
